Search the City’s found-pet database
The City’s pets page links to “Search for Lost Pets,” covering dogs, cats and small pets in its care. Compare descriptions and photographs, and ask the Centre about any possible match. Save the animal’s listing reference when contacting staff.
Found-dog intake uses an appointment route
The same page provides an “I Found a Dog” appointment form. A finder should check the current instructions before arriving with a dog, rather than assuming every shelter accepts unscheduled drop-offs.

The Edmonton Humane Society’s lost-and-found page points to the City’s found pets and lists community resources for Edmonton and surrounding areas. Choose neighbouring services based on actual sightings and the last-seen location.
While you wait for news
