Use Animal Services for a dog lost within city limits
The City’s page links to impounded dogs and the Animal Services Centre. It recommends checking in person as well as online because photographs may not be enough to identify your pet. Confirm visiting arrangements before travelling.

Calgary distinguishes animals found within city limits from those found outside them. Its current page directs out-of-city cases to the Calgary Humane Society. If the dog disappeared near a boundary, explain the exact location when you call.

The City notes that veterinary clinics may receive animals when services are closed or when medical attention is needed. Call nearby clinics with a description. Keep checking the City’s listings even after filing your initial report.
